Healthy hair can be achieved at home
 
As summer approaches many ladies are looking for a new style for their healthy hair, but they do not need to run to the salon as many improvements can be made at home.

Colour can be used to liven up a look, with Marie Claire advising it can be used on the ends of your mop to "enhance hair".

Danilo, a Los Angeles and New York-based celebrity stylist, says: "As beautiful and dramatic as smooth hair is, we've seen so much of it that most people's eyes are immune to it."

Volumising is also tipped to be big this spring, with the top hair products being anything which gives you a boost.

The magazine advises ladies to opt for hair products with polyquaternium-10, which enhances body, detangles hair and makes for a great summer look.
